Maxwell Air Force Base

Our team prepared an update to the campus master plan for Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Maxwell AFB is an Air Education and Training Command installation which occupies approximately 4,029 acres and is the home of Air University, the intellectual and leadership center of the Air Force.  Our team took a design and spatial approach for this comprehensive design & planning study with goals of strengthening and reinforcing the campus feel by relocating parking to the periphery, enhancing pedestrian circulation/connections and further articulating campus spaces.
